The new mod adds a new area called “New Vegas”, complete with a few new characters and locations.
It also introduces a new dialogue option to allow players to “play the game as if they were in the wasteland”.
The mod is the brainchild of a group of modders who are working under the name The Modders Guild, a collective of modder-types who have been working together to make a mod for Fallout 4.
The group behind Fallout 4’s new mods is also working on the upcoming mod that expands the map in the main game.
The Fallout 4 team have released an official announcement about the mod on Bethesda.net, saying the mod is in its “early days”, and will be a “mod that expands all of New Vegas, including the areas that you’ll find in the game”.
“New Vegas is an incredibly detailed and diverse world,” Bethesda’s Todd Howard told Polygon.
“It’s a world where the only things you can see are mountains and oceans, and you can’t even go outside in the real world.
But if you want to explore it, you’ll need to find your way through it.”
The new mod will be free-to-play and requires a copy of Fallout 4, though Bethesda notes that you can pay $19.99 to unlock new locations.
You’ll also be able to explore areas previously locked off to you with a new companion named Dr. Pate.
This is a free update to the game, which launched on July 19.
The mod is now live and will eventually allow players who have paid to unlock more locations and items.
The Moddors Guild has not yet responded to a request for comment.
